29. Oliver Bozanic (Melbourne Victory)

From a current Central Coast Mariner, to a former. Oliver Bozanic returns to Australian shores an A-League winner with a wealth of European and World Cup experience. He is undoubtedly one of the signings of the season. At 26 years of age, Bozanic arrives at Melbourne Victory following a two-year stint at Swiss club, FC Luzern.

Bozanic looks set to pick up a starting position from departing captain, Mark Milligan despite not being a like-for-like replacement. The midfielder offers great technical ability, which he displayed in appearances against the Netherlands and Spain at the 2014 World Cup.

The New South Wales Institute of Sport product could well climb the assists ladder this season with what is the best front four in the competition ahead of him. With new captain Carl Valeri anchoring the midfield, Bozanic will enjoy the freedoms of Victory’s set up and flourish behind Besart Berisha, Fahid Ben Khalfallah and Kosta Barbarouses.
