Socceroo midfielder Massimo Luongo has helped Queens Park Rangers gain a share of the spoils against Socceroos teammate Jackson Irvine’s Burton Albion.

Luongo provided an assist for Sebastian Polter as QPR came from behind to draw 1-1, with both players getting through 90 minutes of action.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Aaron Mooy was at his brilliant best for Huddersfield Town as they bounced back from their defeat at the weekend with a 2-1 win against Rotherham.

Mooy’s Man of the Match performance helped the Terriers move temporarily back to the top of the table, with Norwich to play their game in hand tomorrow.

Socceroos captain Mile Jedinak got through a full 90 minutes for Aston Villa who were held by Barnsley 1-1, their eighth consecutive game without a win.

Defender Bailey Wright played the full 90 in Preston North End’s exciting 2-2 draw against Birmingham.

In England’s lower leagues, James Meredith played the entire match for Bradford as they beat Fleetwood Town 2-1 to move up to third position in the table.

Goalkeeper Alex Cisak, conceded two goals as his nine-man Leyton Orient fell 2-0 to Plymouth Argyle in England’s fourth tier.

To France, where Robbie Kruse was forced to watch from the bench as Bayer Leverkusen conceded a 94th minute equaliser to AS Monaco in the Champions League.
