Magic Martial lives up to the hype.
After becoming the most expensive teenager in world football, there was already great expectation on the shoulders of Anthony Martial. However, the young Frenchman seemingly had not taken a look at the script, acquitting himself superbly with his sharpness and all-round play. He linked-up well with his teammates and then took the opportunity to score sumptuously, dribbling-in from the left channel at pace before nutmegging Martin Skrtel and finessing the ball into the bottom-right corner. Martial’s challenge will now be to try and establish a regular starting place in this revolutionized team.
