Mario Balotelli still has plenty to give
Milan finally put together a performance worthy of their transfers completed during the offseason and were the better of the two sides prior to the goal that turned out to be the winner in last weekend’s derby, a thunderbolt from Inter youngster Fredy Guarin.
Mario Balotelli came on to replace Carlos Bacca for the last half-hour and showed promising glimpses of the talent that has been so elusive. Beating three opposition players in the penalty area with ease, hitting the post from 25- yards out and forcing a save froma long-range free-kick were all part of the Itanlian international’s highlights, in what was a positive day for his journey moving forward.
