After just five weeks some serious questions must now be asked of Chelsea. They were again punished for another abysmal showing and the basic components that Jose Mourinho instills in his teams are seemingly non-existent right now. For all their possession and pressure created in the game, the Blues only had two shots on target. This statistic makes the ‘Special One’s’ post-match interview even more perplexing and ludicrous.
The Portuguese spoke about how his team deserved more and were unlucky, but how can you win the game with just two shots on target and a defence leaking goals? All the household names from last year are playing poorly, a worry as Mourinho simply does not know the root of the problems.
