Manchester City secure hard-fought three points
The current champions elect in Manchester City marched on to secure their fifth consecutive domestic win of 2015-16. However, it was far from easy and Pellegrini’s men had to combat some early pressure before they got into their groove .After Sergio Aguero’s unfortunate injury, Kevin De Bruyne was introduced and demonstrated his class, linking-up well with his teammates. After all of Palace’s resistance, 18-year-old Kelechi Iheanacho was on hand to convert Samir Nasri’s parried shot from close-range and secure a late winner. Even with the season in its infancy, it is hard denying how imperious the Citizens look and in this form they will certainly be champions next May.
