Lee Carsley

The man who just wants to be coach has done it again. Taking over after the departure of Marinus Dijkhuizen, Carsley has expressed his desire to return to a youth development, however, four wins in a row, including a first victory against QPR in 50 years, may just change his mind.

Brentford played some very good football at times and managed to shut down Rangers after Djuricin put them ahead. The team selected had barely changed in the last month and Carsley’s faith in his squad seems to be paying-off.

Another big test for the Bees will come next week though when they host Hull. But if they can bring the same game they did against QPR, then Carsley will surely be up for manager of the month.
