The Sao Paulo curse continues for Juventus

Although the Bianconeri broke a fifteen year curse at the Sao Paulo last season, it seems that their unwanted record there may not have been dispelled entirely.

It was the same old story for both sides in Napoli, the home side continuing their topsy-turvy season by beating a team many considered to be the favourite to win a fifth straight Scudetto. Meanwhile, the woes continue for Juventus, who were not able to capitalise on very good chances and were made to pay as a result.

Out the door for Fabrizio Castori

Despite leading the team to the Serie A for the first time since its inception, it seems that Carpi have seen enough of Castori after just six matches in charge this season.

The club decided to part ways with the former Cesena manager somewhat harshly, due to their poor start to the season. Castori has a rather forgetful managerial history; being sacked half way through a season is an unfortunately regular occurrence for men who take up office there.
