Championship runners-up Watford are capable of causing surprises
A debut EPL game at Goodison Park is no walk in the park for a newly promoted team, but goals from Miguel Layun and Odion Ighalo gave the Hornets an opportunity to grab the three points before Arouna Kone scored a late equaliser. In what was a real team effort, former Tottenham midfielder Etienne Capoue looked strong in midfield, Jose Manuel Jurado looked strong up front creating a number of scoring opportunities and Troy Deeney also impressed. In an opening round where the other two promoted teams both endured losses, Watford will be content walking away with a point.
