The Napoli playmaker created the first breakthrough with a picture perfect long pass and doubled their lead with a curling strike that crashed into the net off the post. Conversely, Rooney may have been quieter in front of goal himself, but still looks to be as dependable as ever for the Three Lions. The attacking veteran has created six more chances for his teammates to score than Hamsik, also completing more successful passes and take-ons.
