In another top of the ladder clash it was the home team Napoli who got the better of Fiorentina after a tight contest, ending 2-1 in favour Maurizio Sarri’s men.
Napoli has continued their climb up the Serie A mountain after a sluggish start to the season, following another strong win against a Fiorentina side which was in first spot heading into the weekend.
The first-half was very bland with neither team throwing too much at the other, but barely 30 seconds after the break, the in-form Lorenzo Insigne and Gonzalo Higuain both scored their sixth goals of the league so far.
With only mid-table teams coming up on the fixture list for Napoli, can they make it to the top by the end of October? Conversely, will a high-flying Fiorentina be able to bounce-back and stay on track?
