16th time lucky for Verona?
It is a statistic that Verona would not be too proud of holding and need to break if they are to remain in the top flight next season. The club is currently on a streak of 15 matches without a win and with a run to Christmas that includes Frosinone, Empoli, Milan and Sassuolo, the future does not look any easier for the Gialloblu.
Napoli had full control of the match despite only scoring twice, with Gonzalo Higuain and Lorenzo Insigne continuing to find the net.
Torino finally get three points
Another club that has struggled for three points in recent times has been the Granata. Torino have not taken three points from any match in five, but an early headed goal from centre-back Cesare Bovo got the job done in a rather unconvincing fashion away to Atalanta.
Andrea Belotti could have added two more, however the woodwork got in the way on both occasions.
