Lazio

Federico Marchetti – 6: Could do nothing about the penalty, however, will be disappointed to be beaten at the near post for the Gervinho goal.

Dusan Basta – 5.5: Found it incredible tough against the superb Gervinho. Went forward on occasion but made no impact on the Roma defence.

Mauricio – 5.5: Did little to stop the aggressive Dzeko. Like most of the Lazio defence, he was unable to cope with the attacking players of the Giallorossi.

Santiago Gentiletti – 5: Lazio defender may feel harshly done by with the penalty, but it was a stupid challenge to make in a derby. Earned a yellow card and was too keen to jump into tackles.

Stefan Radu – 5.5: Was part of the Lazio defence that did not have it’s finest day. Got into trouble and earned a yellow card for letting his frustration boil over.

Marco Parolo – 5.5: Having missed his last four games, the former Parma man looked off the pace. He was often to blame for Lazio giving the ball away in the centre of the park.

Lucas Biglia- 6: Not at his best and was unable to control the midfield. The Lazio captain put in tough tackles with some being over the line.

Senad Lulic – 5.5: The most famous goal scorer in a Rome derby was unable to produce another iconic moment. Created some chances for his forwards.

Felipe Anderson – 7: Easily Lazio’s best player on the day. Saw his shot thunder off the crossbar from 30-yards out. He was always on the move and causing the Roma backline issues.

Antonio Candreva – 6: The Roman born midfielder was able to put his stamp on the game early on, but faded as the time went on.

Filip Djordjevic – 5.5: Did not have a sniff in front of the Roma goal but had very limited service throughout the match. Was subbed-off in the second-half in a disappointing game.

Substitutes

Miroslav Klose – 5: Came on looking to add to his tally in the derby but was anonymous. Had a great chance to bring his side back into the game, but fluffed his lines when it was easier to score.

Balde Keita Diao – 6.5: The youngster was very lively off the bench. His direct style caused Roma all sorts of problems and laid it on a plate for Klose. Put in a strong case to start after the upcoming international break.

Alessandro Matri – N/A: On for less than 10 minutes.
