Berahino’s demons well and truly arrested
The summer transfer saga that surrounded Berahino was well documented. A deep crevasse seemed to appear between club and player that looked, at times, beyond repair.
The youngster’s proposed move to Tottenham Hotspur did not come to fruition, but to Berahino’s credit, he has rebounded brilliantly since the transfer window slammed shut.
The Burundi-born attacker backed up his goal against Midlands rivals Aston Villa with a composed finish against Everton, all the while linking up well with new strike partner Salomon Rondon.
