Alexis Sanchez crushed Tottenham Hotspur’s chances of sitting at the top of the table in the 76th minute during an emphatic North London Derby at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Harry Kane scored spectacularly to put Tottenham Hotspur in front after going 1-0 behind in the first half.
Toby Alderweireld equalised for Spurs after Erik Lamela bundled a corner back into the box for the Belgian to drill low into the goal.

Arsenal originally took the lead after 39 minutes through Aaron Ramsey’s touch of magic. Hector Bellerin drilled a low pass into the box which was back-heeled superbly into the net by the Welshman.

Tottenham had an earlier chance through Lamela, who could not quite connect properly with Kyle Walker’s cross, forcing David Ospina into a super save.

Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris – 6: Not Lloris’ best game but still played well against a tough side. Not much he could have done about the first goal, possibly could have dealt better with the second.

Kyle Walker – 6: Put a halt to Arsenal’s chances when he stopped Welbeck from shooting on goal.

Toby Adlerweireld – 7: Should have been tighter to Aaron Ramsey in the first goal, but redeemed himself with the equaliser.

Kevin Wimmer – 6: Defensively, the game was not Spurs’ best performance, but Wimmer stopped an in-form Welbeck from making the situation worse.

Danny Rose – 6.5: Played very well going forward and had a good game overall before coming off.

Moussa Dembele – 6: Back from a groin injury and fared reasonably well in the deep-lying playmaker role before being replaced.

Eric Dier – 6: Lucky to be on the pitch for the full 90 minutes after a silly challenge, pulling down Danny Welbeck.

Erik Lamela – 6: Subbed as he too was walking the yellow tightrope.

Christian Eriksen – 6.5: Free kicks and set pieces were not as perfect as usual, but provided the corner that led to Alderweireld’s equaliser.

Dele Alli – 7: Buzzing around in the middle alongside Dembele. Had a shot go just wide in the later stages of the second half.

Harry Kane – 8: Aaron Ramsey’s goal was good, but Harry Kane’s goal was great. Sensational finish to put Spurs in front in the North London Derby.

Substitutes

Ryan Mason – 6: Provided the pass that allowed Dele Alli a chance to win it, before he fired just wide.

Ben Davies – N/A: Came on with 11 minutes to go.

Son Hueng-min – N/A: Not on the pitch long enough to make a proper impact.
