Arsenal and English midfielder Jack Wilshere has been told he can find a new club before the end of the transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail who claim, the Gunners will allow Wilshere to leave on a temporary basis in search of more regular first team football. Juventus are firming as favourites for his services, adding some depth to a midfield which lost superstar Paul Pogba to Manchester United this summer.

It comes as another blow for the 24-year-old who was omitted from Sam Allardyce’s first England squad just a couple of days ago.

The central midfielder has already seen his first team opportunities limited this season as he battles with the likes of Granit Xhaka, Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey for a place in the starting lineup.

Wilshere has been involved in two of the Gunners’ opening three Premier League games although he has been limited to substitute appearances for a total of 37 minutes.

Manager Arsene Wenger reportedly does not want to let Wilshere leave on a permanent basis, as he seems him as a long-term option in the middle of the park at the Emirates.

Spanish side Valencia may once again look at the English international having failed in their attempts to sign him back in January when Gary Neville was at the helm.

Defender Calum Chambers could also be set to follow his teammate out the door before the close of the transfer window. The former Southampton defender is set to join Middlesbrough on a season-long loan.
