West Ham United

Adrian – 6: Almost got his hand on Cabaye’s penalty and that was really the only time he was called upon for the game.

Carl Jenkinson – 6: A mixed game for Jenkinson. Scored the opener after being found by Moses. Then a matter of minutes later brought down Gayle to give Palace a penalty.

James Tomkins – 6: Dealt with the long balls that went towards Gayle, generally defused any threatening situation.

James Collins – 5: Had an inconsistent game and got caught out on multiple occasions, but Palace were unable to capitalise.

Aaron Cresswell – 6: Did the job that needed to be done in order to deal with the Zaha threat.

Cheikhou Kouyate – 7: Played a key role in West Ham’s midfield, and was one of the main components in the West Ham attack in the second half.

Mark Noble – 6:  Worked well in the midfield and around the edge of the box before he was taken off for Carroll.

Manuel Lanzini – 8: One of the best players on the field, scoring a goal and assisting another. Worked hard to try and create opportunities.

Dimitri Payet – 7: Another great player for the Hammers. Scored the final goal and was constantly caused issues for the Eagles defence.

Victor Moses – 7: Assisted in the Jenkinson goal with a perfect through ball. Was a chief threat to the Crystal Palace defence.

Diafra Sahko – 6: Made some penetrative runs but struggled to make any real impact.

Substitutes

Andy Carroll – 7: Assisted in the Lanzini goal heading the ball down into the middle of the box.

Mauro Zarate – 6: Played well coming on to replace Moses. Found Carroll with a cross for Lanzini’s goal.

Nikica Jelavic – 5: Made no real impact on the game.
