West Ham, aided by Dwight Gayle’s red card, overpowered a resilient Crystal Palace, easing eventually to a 3-1 away victory.

Yohan Cabaye scored from the penalty spot for the third consecutive match, but it meant little in the end, as Lanzini swept home the winner, and Payet added the final coat of gloss with a cool chip.
