Juventus end poor run

The Old Lady has had a miserable start to their domestic season after failing to win any of their first three games, losing two and drawing one in the process. The Serie A champions have seen a rather large amount of stars depart the club this season, including the likes of Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo, Angelo Ogbonna, Simone Pepe, Fernando Llorente, Mauricio Isla and Arturo Vidal. While they have managed to replace most of those players, losing so many big names in one season is clearly hurting them. But Massimiliano Allegri and his players will be hopeful the away win at City can kick-start their campaign.

City will travel to Germany next where they take on Lucien Favre’s Borussia Monchengladbach in two weeks’ time. With Sevilla and Juventus on three points, Pellegrini will want to get a win to get some points on the board as soon as possible. Juventus will play host to Sevilla who impressed in a 3-0 win over Monchengladbach. An extremely tough group to come out of but both City and Juventus would like to think of themselves as favourites to progress to the next stage of the Champions League.
