Raheem Sterling must improve his finishing

City shelled out nearly £45 million to secure the services of Raheem Sterling and for an attacking player that costs so much, you would expect him to score more often. But this is nevertheless one area where the Englishman has struggled throughout his career. On numerous occasions this season, the 20-year-old has failed to convert one-on-one opportunities. He could have scored within the first two minutes but his tame effort was hit straight at Gianluigi Buffon. In the second half, he had an even easier opportunity to put City 2-0 ahead but once again failed to score past Buffon. No one can doubt his pace and skill and considering he gets into scoring positions more often than not, he must be able to convert such opportunities.
