Perth Glory missed Josh Risdon

The full-back was unavailable due to Socceroos duty and boy, did the Glory miss him. Aryn Williams took his spot in the first half and he was solid, if unspectacular, but also picked up a booking for bringing down Ryan Kitto. With the winger looking dangerous, coach Kenny Lowe replaced Williams with Dino Djulbic, who added more defensive nous but lacked the inclination to join in with the attacks. With Perth’s attack one-dimensional at times, it was obvious they missed Risdon’s movement and distribution in the final third, and his link play with Castro, Harold and Keogh which has been such a joy to watch in recent weeks was sorely lacking. Glory fans couldn’t be happier to have him available again next week.
