Sydney FC’s captain was a crucial part of the team’s run into the grand final and looks set to be hugely influential in getting the Sky Blues back to the biggest game of the season and going one better.
Brosque returned to Sydney after a few years abroad in Japan and the UAE. Of the 27 games he played last season, Brosque found the back of the net nine times, including two goals in the finals series.

He was able to control Sydney’s midfield, making them one of the toughest teams to play against and opposition players had difficulty eliminating his influence on matches. After such a consistently good campaign last season, Brosque knows that regular solid performances on his behalf will go a long way in helping the Sky Blues achieve their goal of winning the championship.
