- Ivan Franjic (Melbourne City)
Ivan Franjic returns to the A-League after a tumultuous year in Russia with Torpedo Moscow. After five seasons with the Brisbane Roar in which he won three championships and two premierships, the right-back has moved back home to Melbourne to play with City.
He brings a wealth of experience to one of the most exciting teams in the competition and most importantly brings some much needed defensive cover to the full-back position, an area City struggled to fill last season.
Franjic’s last season in the A-League saw him score five goals. The Socceroo will be looking to cement a spot in John van’t Schip’s starting XI and return to the form which made him a vital part of the Roar’s winning side.
