Following 66 head-to-head games in the Xbox Pro Circuit qualifier bracket, we are down to our final two contenders, Deaann and Raheem. The winner will secure their place in the inaugural AUSFIFA.com Pro Circuit Melbourne Main Event, hosted at the Sporting Globe in Richmond on August the 13th. Here, we will see the best of the best battling it out to be crowned Australia’s number one FIFA player, not to mention, competing for a four-figure cash prize for first place.

Raheem (XBOX)

Raheem will be eager to continue his winning ways after an impressive four straight AUSFIFA tournament wins leading into the Pro Circuit Qualifier and is viewed as “unbeatable” by many in the AUSFIFA community. Arguably, Raheem had the tougher journey through the Xbox Pro Circuit bracket, overcoming the likes of Juzzomac and Ow_Nonu_Bro early in the competition, and then being taken to three games by xXxF1FaK1NGXx in the semi-final.

Deaann (XBOX)

Deaann is a well-known veteran on AUSFIFA.com and has consistently placed well in their tournaments. Most recently he netted himself runner-up in the pay-to-play AUSFIFA Pro Series #2. Due to unexpectedly poorer performances from some of the more well-known names in his side of the bracket, he dodged some important fixtures. Deaann has not dropped a single game leading up to the final and has every right to be confident.

Raheem is a formidable force and efficient in attack and adept at defending the opposition in tight situations. Raheem will be the favourite, although he should not discount his opponent on Thursday night.

Deaann has been known to completely wipe his opponents off the field. If there is anyone to challenge Raheem for top spot in this deciding qualifier and ultimately, secure a spot in the Melbourne Main Event, it would certainly be him. The man is feared by many in the FIFA scene and takes sick satisfaction in pulling his opponents apart from the first minute of a game. He capitalises on their weaknesses, dazzles them with his skill-dribbling and punishes their over-confidence.

On paper, this fixture is not to be missed. The winner will begin to plan their journey to Melbourne for the Pro Circuit Main Event, while comparatively, the other will need to go back to the drawing board and refocus their efforts for the upcoming Pro Circuit Xbox Qualifier #2, which begins later this week. Whoever comes out on top, there will be no qualms about the quality of player.

Match predictions?… I’m not a betting man and this is too close to call. Instead, I’m going to watch the games live tomorrow night and see the action for myself.

If you want to catch the games live on Thursday 2nd June, tune in to Raheem’s Twitch Channel. Scheduled to kickoff at 7 o’clock AEST.
