Heading into the final matchday of the initial stages, there is plenty left to play for the Group C teams.

Ukraine may have already been eliminated from the tournament, but by no means will they be willing to give the Polish an easy path into the knockout stages.

For Northern Ireland and Germany, they will be looking for three points as they look to confirm their spot in the next stage of the competition.

So what can happen to each team?

Germany

The Germans can guarantee their automatic progression to the next round with a draw against the Northern Irish, while they will finish on top of the group if Poland fail to beat Ukraine. The reigning world champions can slip to second if they draw and Poland wins. They may slip to third if Northern Ireland and Poland both win.

Poland

A draw will also see the White Eagles progress to the knockout stages of the tournament. A defeat to Ukraine and a Germany draw will see them remain second, however, if Northern Ireland win they will slip to third. The Poles can top the group if they claim all three points and Die Mannschaft either draws or loses.

Northern Ireland

Have the chance to progress even without a top two finish, as they are guaranteed to finish at least third. The only way the team can finish in the top two is if they defeat Germany, due to their head-to-head with Poland. They may yet finish top with a victory and a Polish loss or draw.

Ukraine

No matter their result on the final day they are guaranteed to finish bottom of the group due to their head-to-head record against Northern Ireland.
