PSG recorded another victory with a 3-0 Champions League win over Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday evening.
Goals from David Luiz, Serge Aurier and an own goal from Shakhtar captain Darijo Srna were enough for PSG and they now sit in second place in Group A behind Real Madrid on goal difference.
The reality for PSG so far this season is that while they have recorded seemingly easy wins on paper, the matches have been much tighter than the scoreline suggests – this one was no different. Shakhtar had plenty of chances to get back into the game but did not take them.
