Both of them got on the scoresheet off the back of each other’s assistance, but it was the build-up play that was most impressive. They had their way with City’s back line, the duo interchanged passes continuously at obscure angles and even tighter spaces, and to make it even more exciting they elected to do it in the manner of a juggling competition. Individually they constantly went past City’s guard and were always a nuisance off the ball.
