Georginio Wijnaldum partnered Jack Colback in the heart of midfield with Florian Thauvin, Moussa Sissoko and Ayoze Perez providing support for lone striker Papiss Cisse. 4-2-3-1.
Heurelho Gomes once again started in goals, Allan Nyom, Sebastian Prodl, Craig Cathcart and Ikechi Anya played across the back. Etienne Capoue and Ben Watson operated in the middle of the park with Almen Abdi, Troy Deeney and Jurado playing behind the prolific Ighalo. 4-2-3-1.
