Serie A could be too much to handle for legend Miroslav Klose

Klose returned to the starting lineup for the first time this season and although it was his first game back, he found it difficult to impose himself on the match.

The World Cup winner only managed one dribble and gave away a foul in his 64 minutes on the pitch and at the age of 37, some will begin to wonder if his ability to play at a club in any top-flight division is has diminished.

The big guns bring back Catenaccio

This seasons Derby D’Italia at the San Siro was just about the most anticipated it had been in a number of years, however, what we expected and what we got were two different things.

Both Massimiliano Allegri and Roberto Mancini sent their teams to play what resembled the famous Cantenaccio style of football, with both defensive lines playing an important part during this match. Some quick counter-attacking plays saw Inter Milan and Juventus have two and four shots on target respectively.
