Feel good stories for both Genoa and Chievo

Although Chievo could not hold onto a point with only one minute to go of additional time, the team can take some pride in the their right-back Federico Mattiello, who made his return after sustaining a horrible broken leg last season against Roma and he did not miss a beat.

For Genoa, not only did Panagiotis Tachtsidis secure all three points in the dying moments of the match while the home side were down to 10 men, the return of the prodigy Mattia Perin would have pleased fans of the Grifone.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to watch Verona and Udinese

Both sides have started their seasons in a very ordinary fashion, particularly Verona who displayed a large amount of promise last season, all led by the veteran Luca Toni. The club finds themselves winless in 2015-16, in an early relegation battle and what is even worse, fans are beginning to jeer their performances, suggesting the Gialloblu are becoming difficult to watch.

The story is no different for Udinese, scoring the equal third least number of goals of the league and not able to provide Antonio Di Natale the service he most definitely deserves.

Napoli halt Fiorentina’s run

It was a clash of the two in-form teams in the Serie A at the Sao Paulo and the match did not disappoint.

Napoli did their best to rattle the visitors and it seemed to have worked, Fiorentina finding the path to goal a lot more difficult than usual, largely thanks to Marek Hamsik’s defensive work

It was once again the dynamic duo of Gonzalo Higuain and Lorenzo Insigne who scored a goal each, making it the third time this season both players have contributed to the score sheet – joining Eder at the top of the Capocannoniere race.
