Giulio Migliaccio makes a quick impact

German Denis made it two goals in two matches when he kicked off the scoring for Atalanta inside 18 minutes. This seemed to rattle Palermo who could not quite get themselves into the match and although the home side walked away with a comfortable win, there was another talking point from the match.

Migliaccio replaced Jasmin Kurtic with 14 minutes to go and only managed 10 seconds of game time, entering into a tackle in which he raised an extremely high foot, leaving Carmine Russo no choice but to send the Italian back to the sheds.

Fiorentina back to winning ways

In a week where scoring three goals during a match occurred on four occasions, Fiorentina took advantage of Napoli’s slip-up to secure second spot on the table with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Udinese.

The away side did not manage a shot on target for the entire match as La Viola cruised to victory although the match could have been made interesting if Silvan Widmer’s header had not have met the post early in the second half.

We learned that Fiorentina have now began another unbeaten streak, with the win extending this to seven matches in Serie A, nine in all competitions.
