Thriller in Torino

Torino and Genoa played out a match with an abundance of defensive errors resulting in goals aplenty. The 3-3 final scoreline kicked-off with an eight minute period during the first-half that saw the ball go into the net on three occasions.  Then began the drama.

Panagotis Tachtsidis unluckily turned the ball in the back of his own net a minute from time after Mattia Perin spilled it into his path. Just when the Granata thought the match was over, up popped Diego Laxalt, who with forty seconds of additional time remaining, headed a cross home and made sure Genoa left with a point in hand.

Eder is Sampdoria

The Italian winger has being enjoying a spell of fantastic form this season to add to a very consistent run in 2014-15. Eder has scored just under 50% of Sampdoria’s goals this season, more than anyone else in the Serie A and currently holds the lead with Gonzalo Higuain for the Capocannoniere.

After Manual Pucciarelli was allowed to turn in the area and hit a wonderful goal, Eder was on the end of some excellent midfield pressure just eight minutes later to score the equaliser.

His partner in crime, Luis Muriel, has struggled in recent weeks and this has reflected onto Sampdoria’s ladder position.
