Newly promoted Carpi held their own against Napoli overnight, with neither side able to find a breakthrough at the Stadio Alberto Braglia.
Maurizio Sarri’s men have again dropped points they should have taken, considering the match was against a newly promoted team. In a 90 minute display that was very uninspiring for all those involved, there were very few clear-cut chances that could have been scored.
However, on the flip side, having only taken one point from the first four games, Carpi would be happy for the most part that they managed to take a point from the Gli Azzurri. At the same time, they also had their chances to put one past Napoli and would be a little disappointed at their finishing, but did well keeping a clean sheet after the visitors’ last two games have produced 5-0 wins.
