The Bianconeri took on Torino in the ‘Derby della Mole’ at the Juventus Stadium with a late Juan Cuadrado goal seeing the hosts come away 2-1 winners overnight.
Paul Pogba opened the scoring inside the first 20 minutes with a ‘Pogboom’ shot from outside the 18-yard box that sailed over Torino keeper Daniele Padelli’s head. Cesare Bovo equalised for the visitors on the 51st minute with a thunderbolt of his own after following up from a blocked free-kick, blasting the ball past Gianluigi Buffon.
Just like last season though, it was Juventus who managed to score the winner in the 93rd minute, this time through Cuadrado, who met Alex Sandro’s low cross from the left to send the Old Lady away victorious in the Turin derby.
