It was an absolutely wild affair at Loftus Road yesterday as Queens Park Rangers scored in the dying breath to snatch a memorable 4-3 victory.
A man of the match performance from Jay Emmanuel Thomas helped QPR over the line against Bolton Wanderers. The hosts surrendered an early lead as Bolton hit two inside of 11 minutes and for a moment it seemed as if Rangers might fall apart, as they did at Fulham last week. However, they hit back two minutes later when Tjaronn Chery found Emmanuel Thomas at the near post. They then took control, levelling it up before the break after Leroy Fer found the net amid a goalmouth scramble.
After the break, QPR looked to have completed an incredible comeback thanks to stunning 30-yard effort from Chery. The visitors were not done yet though and an inspired Wellington Silva dashed past a tame defence to make it 3-3, five minutes from time. But as they say, it isn’t over until the final whistle and in the dying moments Emmanuel Thomas skipped past his marker and curled it home from long-range.
