Bolton Wanderers

Ben Amos – 5.5: Several big saves from the former Man Utd man kept Bolton in the game.

Dean Moxey – 4: About as competent as his opposition counterparts – the defender struggled against a pacey QPR attack.

Dorian Dervite – 4.5: Had trouble dealing with the innovative Emmanuel Thomas for most of the match. Did link up well with Clayton in the second-half, but failed to hit the target.

Liam Feeney – 5.5: Looked red hot with an assist and a goal in the first 11 minutes. However, his defensive application was typical of a team tipped for relegation.

Prince-Desire Gouano – 4.5: Offered little in defence or attack throughout the 90 minutes.

Max Clayton – 6: Had a great opportunity to put Bolton three up on 15 minutes, but scuffed his shot wide under pressure from Green.

Gary Madine – 6.5: It is not hard to see why Bolton manager, Neil Lennon, is a big fan of the midfielder. He caused problems all day for QPR and shook his marker very easily for the first goal.

Mark Davies – 5.5: Had a good chance in the second-half, but only found Green with no one attacking the near post.

Neil Danns – 5.5: Seemed to cover every blade of grass – his movement reflective of the collective madness of the game.

Daren Pratley – 5: – Forced Green into the parry that put Feeney in for Bolton’s second goal.

Francesco Pisano – 4.5: Did not have a particularly impressive night and seemingly feigned an injury in the first period, much to the dismay of both sets of players.

Substitutes

David Wheater – 5: Replaced Pisano at half-time, giving the visitors a little more control in possession.

Jay Spearing  – 5.5: Good performance as usual from the former captain.

Wellington Silva – 6.5: Took advantage of some poor defending to intercept the ball and find the bottom right hand corner. Gave Bolton an extra attacking element in the last ten minutes.
