Adam Masina (Bologna vs Atalanta)

Masina becomes the first Albanian to feature in our top five performers list after an impressive performance in an equally impressive Bologna side. Although he did not find himself in the forward-half too often during the match, Masina steered the defensive ship, which enabled his midfielders and forwards to get the job done at the other end of the pitch.

The left-back has played every minute of the Rossoblu’s campaign thus far, proving to be a critical part of a non stable Bologna outfit.

Mario Suarez (Fiorentina vs Frosinone)

In such a dominant first-half performance by Fiorentina, Suarez is the first of two Viola players to feature in our countdown this week.

In a man of the match showing, Suarez covered the entire pitch with ease in their win over Frosinone. He completed everything expected at both ends, his defensive efforts holding-up the opposition, while finding the targets up front.

The most impressive part of his performance was his passing accuracy by the end of the match, at 92%.
