Alejandro Gomez (Atalanta vs Carpi)

It was a complete performance for the Atalanta winger, judged man of the match all the while spending the last 15 minutes of the affair on the bench. After missing a one-on-one chance early in the first-half, Gomez more than made up for his miss by scoring directly from the corner spot in a wonderful display of skill.

He will be pleased with his season to date, not only contributing goals and assists but also completing defensive duties when needed.

Luca Paganini (Frosinone vs Sampdoria)

Paganini is the first Frosinone player to feature in our top five performers this season and he has done so in impressive fashion. The midfielder could be found in just about every position on the pitch during the match in what was a complete and hardworking outing.

He made no mistake when the opportunity from a corner arose in the six-yard box, heading the first of Frosinone’s two goals and ultimately securing a win for the home side.

The young midfielder will play an important role for the club if they are to remain in the Serie A beyond this season.
