Western Sydney Wanderers secured their first win of the season with an encouraging 1-0 victory against Perth Glory at Pirtek Stadium.

Thunder storms and a significant amount of rain influenced the game, as both teams struggled to construct cohesive passages of play throughout the 90 minutes.
The home team dominated proceedings in the first half and got took the lead just before half time through an impressive Dario Vidosic who lashed in a fierce drive.
That’s all it took for the hosts, who bagged an invaluable three points that could breathe life into their season.
