Kane’s entrance onto the big international stage did not go exactly to plan, with England having to settle with a disappointing 1-1 draw with Russia to open their Euro campaign. Individually, one could be sure the young forward would have wanted to make more of an impact as well, failing to hit the target with any of his three shots and creating just two other chances.

On the other hand, the ex-Tottenham playmaker Bale’s name was in the headlines after he inspired Wales to a 2-1 triumph over Slovakia. The 26-year-old opened the scoring with a trademark unstoppable free-kick, took four other attempts that were all on target and won four aerial duels.

Which one of these deadly attacking weapons will have more of an influence on tonight’s match?
