Young Boys back on track

Bern Young Boys were back home in the Stade de Suisse to host ninth placed Vaduz and it did not take long for to show their authority on the match, taking the leading after a minute of play.

The goal came from a through ball which it found Leoanardo Bertone, who scored with his first touch of the game.

20 minutes later and Young Boys were on the front foot again, this time from a well-placed cross which was met by a powerful header from Renato Steffen. It must be said though that the cross was just as good as the goal.

It was at this point that the floodgates were really starting to open, when Miralem Sulejmani took the ball on the left wing and sent a piercing pass through two defenders to the feet Yuya Kubo.

The fourth and decisive goa came in the 82nd minute, as Raphael Nuzzolo then scored with his first touch, as it was the fashion in this game. Young Boys were well deserved winners and supporters will be overjoyed with the dominant 4-0 scoreline. If they play this style more often, we might see them contend with Basel toward the end of the season.
