Having made no less than 10 new additions to the squad in the offseason, Roberto Mancini seemingly acquired everything he asked for, though this came at a price as some valuable pieces had to be sacrificed from the Inter jigsaw.

With a decuplet of new faces coming through the doors at Inter, the signs were looking positive for Mancini and the club following the expiration of the latest transfer window.

Three wins from three, including a 1-0 victory against eternal rivals AC Milan, had the manager talking about a possible title challenge, and some of the new signings have been paramount to this early period of success.

However with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations in place, a need to balance the books is required to avoid sanctioning from UEFA, and in order to make many of these acquisitions some seriously talented personnel had to be moved on.
