Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris – 7: Ritchie’s goal aside, a good performance from the Frenchman. Distribution was excellent and stop stopping was adequate.

Kyle Walker – 6: Did well to lock down the Bournemouth left-side for the latter 89 minutes of the game. It was a surprise to see him substituted in the second half.

Toby Anderweireld – 6: Rallied well after the early goal.

Jan Vertongen – 7: A composed performance from another Belgian who was solid in defence and excellent on the ball. His form is a big part of the reason that Spurs have not lost since opening day.

Danny Rose – 5: Positionally obligated to marking Ritchie, to which he did reasonably well, but the pressure did force him to concede the only booking of the game.

Eric Dier – 7: The makeshift midfielder continues to shine in the number six role. Solid in duels, accurate in distribution.

Mousa Dembele – 7: Reacted well to net Tottenham’s second goal. Partnered Dier well in the heart of the midfield.

Dele Alli – 7: Work well as a cog in the Tottenham machine. Had moments of brilliance on and off the ball.

Erik Lamela – 6: Was on the spot for the fourth goal of the game and showed natural flair with the ball at his feet. Outshone by his midfield teammates for the most part.

Christian Eriksen – 8: The Dane seemed to have a hand in everything for Tottenham and was elusive and direct when he needed to be.

Harry Kane – 8: Enjoyed a reasonable measure of luck but deserves credit for chasing every possible opportunity. Never stopped hassling the Bournemouth defence.

Substitutes

Kieran Trippier – 5: A sound debut for the Englishman. Kept the attackers on his side of the field relatively quiet.

Clinton N’Jie – 5: Brought on in the dying minutes of the game. Had one major opportunity to score, but failed to convert.

Ryan Mason – 6: The first substitute for Pochettino, Mason did well to preserve the Tottenham lead through his persistent off the ball efforts.
