Yoan Gouffran, Newcastle United
A member of the starting XI for Newcastle United last season, the Frenchman has found himself out of favor in the current campaign, having only made a pair of league appearances. Comfortable in any position across the front line, Gouffran would serve as an excellent utility player for Howe’s side.
The trouble Howe may face is that Gouffran currently plays for Newcastle, a team that sits tied on points with Bournemouth and one that will no doubt be a direct competitor in the battle to survive relegation. That means they may be reluctant to release a player of Gouffran’s quality. Nevertheless, he has a estimated price tag of around £5 million.
