Charlie Austin, QPR
Austin made a name for himself during QPR’s time in the Premier League, scoring 18 goals from 35 appearances, but was unable to prevent their demotion in the very same season. The English sharpshooter is one of the only names on this list that could comfortably fill the void left by Wilson.
QPR are currently lingering mid-table in the Championship. Despite the club’s lame form, Austin maintains a stake in the table of the league’s top scorers – three off leader Andre Gray.
Eddie Howe and Bournemouth fans alike will hope the current mediocrity of the Rs helps force through a move up to the echelons of the Premier League. With an estimated market value of £10 million, Austin may represent a sizable yet safe investment in Bournemouth’s Premier League future.
