Jason Cummings, Hibernian

Probably one of the most low-key names on this list, Cummings has been turning heads in the Scottish Second Division. At 20 years of age and playing for Hibernian FC, the young centre-forward has already notched 10 goals in 15 outings for his club.

The Scottish Championship is not known for its superior financial means, meaning that a bid of less than £1 million should be enough to lure the Scotland under-21 representative away. The real question lies with whether or not he could make the transition into the world’s most competitive league.

Along with the acquisition of some of the before mentioned players, Howe will be hopeful of retaining the talent he does have, with various Premier League clubs announcing interest in winger Matt Ritchie.

Howe is in desperate need of recruits. Without a number of key figures in the squad, Bournemouth sit in a lowly 18th position, two points shy of where they hope to be come May. It will be the desire of Howe and Bournemouth fans alike that any new recruits bring good fortune to the Cherries’ inaugural Premier League campaign.

How might they line up come February?
