Wellington Phoenix have joined Brisbane Roar at the top of the table with a 3-2 win at Westpac Stadium in round three of the A-League.
Wellington Phoenix
Glen Moss – 7: A solid performance by the Phoenix number one. He made a few decent saves and looked competent at set-pieces. Could do nothing about the goals.
Vince Lia – 7: Another Phoenix veteran who put in a decent shift in the middle of the park. No goal this time!
Ben Sigmund – 7.5: A real captains performance by the long time vice-captain. A typical Siggy run-out full of diving blocks and headed clearances.
Tom Doyle – 7: Doyle is looking to cement his starting spot this season and this performance did him no harm. Assured and mature by the young left-back.
Manny Muscat – 7: Playing in an unfamiliar position due to Durante’s injury for the second week, he looked more assured tonight. Linked well with fellow warhorse Sigmund.
Albert Riera – 8: An effective shield and mop up man. Seemed to win every tackle and 50-50 he was a part of.
Roly Bonevacia – 8.5: He is in ominous form, and his play today demonstrated his creativity and ability on and off the ball.
Michael McGlinchey – 9: Man of the match. A stunning free-kick and numerous silky touches in this game shows that the NZ international is a class act. Creative and deadly.

Louis Fenton – 6: A muted performance by the right-back. He did his job.
Roy Krishna – 8: An excellent finish and workmanlike game. Two goals in two games and looking like he could finally justify his talent this season.
Jeffrey Sarpong – 8: Quality is starting to appear. Decent assist and overall game tonight.
Substitutes
Blake Powell – 8: Super sub? The goal was a tap-in but that’s what he was put on to do. Gets a high-rating for being in the right place and displaying lethal strikers instincts.
Alex Rodriguez – N/A: Came on to see out the victory.
Stephen Appiah Kubi – N/A: Only had a few minutes on the pitch.
