Luke DeVere (Brisbane Roar)

At fourth place is Brisbane Roar defender Luke DeVere. At just 25 years of age, DeVere still has a lot to offer in the Hyundai A-League and in particular for his side Brisbane Roar under new head coach John Aloisi.

Following a spell in Korea’s K-League with Gyeongnam FC, DeVere returned to the Roar at the start of 2015 where he impressed in the latter stages of the season, earning a call-up to Ange Postecoglou’s Socceroos squad. DeVere made his debut for his country in an impressive 2-2 draw with world champions Germany in Kaiserslautern.

With Brisbane currently getting used to life under Aloisi, DeVere will be eager to help his side challenge at the top of the league as well improving his own game to build on his one Socceroos cap.
