Top of the table Manchester City take on lowly Aston Vila, who currently find themselves at the bottom of the Premier League.
High-flying City are unbeaten in their last four league fixtures but have failed to register a win in their last two away games. Villa, on the other hand, have lost all of their previous seven games in the league, with their last win coming on the opening day of the season.
Arsenal are hot on the tails of City, level on points but with only goal difference separating the two. The Sky Blues have managed to cope without their noteworthy assets, David Silva and Sergio Aguero, in recent weeks, but have not managed to gain vital points during that period. Players like Kevin De Bruyne and Yaya Toure have been particularly instrumental in those games and both individuals have also chipped in with crucial goals and performances.
You would not dare bet against City claiming all three points in this one but if this season’s Premier League has taught us anything, it is that predictions are never concrete.
Villa fans need not worry too much as there are a few positives that can still be looked at; an upset might just be on the cards.
