Slaven Bilic has stressed the importance of West Ham’s next three games ahead of his side’s EFL Cup clash with Accrington Stanley tonight.

After conceding eleven goals in their last three games and losing 4-2 to both Watford and West Bromwich Albion. The Hammers are sitting 18th and with three points from 15. Bilic, has come out and described the next three as “mega” as they look to respond from four successive defeats.

This clash against Accrington provides West Ham with a chance to change their fortunes at home. As their move to the Olympic Stadium continues to be faced by ongoing resistance from their disgruntled fans after their move from Upton Park.

Following the match with Accrington are home games against Southampton and Middlesborough before the next international break, and Bilic is not pleased with the current predicament of his team.

Speaking to media ahead of the cup tie, he said: “I’m not happy. The boys know that, we spoke after every game. The boys have to show a reaction. We’ve had a couple of poor results after the international break, conceded eight goals in two games. It’s put us in a situation that isn’t pleasant.”

“You can get in trouble quickly but can get out of it quickly. We have three mega games before the break now, three cup finals.”
